If you plan to visit us, and care to give us advance notice, we will endeavour to assist with mooring and open the clubhouse in order that you will enjoy your stay with us.

If you are coming for just a passing visit your time with us will be limited by the short tidal window. On tides higher than 7 metres it is normally possible to tie up alongside the staging  to the north side of the slip.

Don’t arrive at Lydney earlier than one hour before high water as there are sandbanks that may have little water over them. Be prepared to leave Lydney one hour after high water.

For a longer visit. Contact Dave Penfold (Harbour Master) who will arrange for you to lock into Lydney Harbour. Dave will arrange a dockside mooring to allow convenient access to Lydney Yacht Club
